Radiator Springs Racers

As a kid growing up in Southern California, I spent a lot of
summers at Disneyland and one of my favorite rides was “Autopia”. My trip to
Disneyland wasn’t complete until I rode this ride with my family. Something
about racing a go-cart around the track at Disney made me feel like a real race
car driver. I could barely look over the wheel, but it didn’t matter; I was
determined to beat my brother and sister on this ride.

When I heard about a new, car-theme addition to California
Adventure, I was having flashbacks from my past… I couldn’t wait to see what
was in store for me at the new theme park called, Cars Land. There are a
variety of rides for all ages. There are also a variety of shops and
restaurants that serve “specialty foods” that are appropriately themed around
Cars Land. I highly recommend bringing an ongoing, “snack” appetite because you
will want to try a little bit of everything!

When visiting Disney’s California Adventure, Cars Land; here
are the Top 5 Traveling Tips from TravelingDad:

  1. Sample the food.
Lots of Good Old American Variety.

  2. This is a great park area for the younger families. Other
than Radiator Springs, most of the rides and attractions cater to the younger
kids who enjoy the interaction between the Movie theme, characters, and visual
    effects.

  3. At night, California Adventures has a Dance Party themed
after the “Mad Hatter” from Alice in Wonderland. If you have Tweens and Teens,
this is a must see and do.

  4. Most of the Cars Lands attractions cater to younger riders.
Each ride entrance offers easy to read and measure height requirements.

  5. If you have the option and don’t mind riding with other park
visitors, the “Single Line” offers fast access to all the rides.
