Men’s Style: Track Jacket 2017
What was once considered a weekend bragging right by showing off your Premiere league colors, the track jacket has evolved into a fashion staple for a man who wants to add a little color and style into his wardrobe. Our staff of six Dads went to the mall to review this wardrobe necessity. Take a look at some of these styles and how they can coordinate well as a layer on casual Friday or a weekend club wear without the gaudy jewelry.
Here is what our staff found at the mall:
Addidas: Broad range here. Subtle patterns and muted colors give this years lines street cred. The brand has expanded to all households of Dads. These track jackets look great with anything you wear with them; from Baggy jeans to Obama’s “Mom’s Jeans”
Puma: The flying cat has taken a loud roar of color in the 2017 lineup. Great looking, slim, euro-fit so try on a few sizes before you purchase.. Works well with vintage t-shirt and counter the tennis shoes with a pair of “Chucks” (Converse)
Gucci: Bling factor here. Let me keep the price tag on this jacket and match the jacket with my glasses. Proud and loud.
Ralph Lauren: classic, conservative and comfortable. The horse factor, enough said.
Fila: Retro. The man that wears Fila is a man who wants to be known for his individuality and his Ben Sherman skinny jeans. Nerd alert , enough said.
In summary, we had a good time sampling the variety of track jackets for men this fall and recommend finding the one that fits your style!
