Divorced Dad Dating Q&A:

How Do
I Show PDA?

Dear Ask SingleDad,

I am a Divorced Dad for over three
years and a member here on SingleDad. I have been dating my girlfriend for over
a year and I adore her very much. I have two kids, ages 3 and 6. My
girlfriend has never been married and has no kids. PDAs make me a little uneasy
in front of my children and sometimes in public, but my girlfriend loves PDA’s,
(Public Displays of Affection) Do you have any tips on how to show PDA? I am
also concerned about PDA’s in front of my kids.

Dear Carl,

When it comes to PDA in front of your
children, it is all about comfort levels. There is a time and place for
everything, so keep in mind of your actions in front of your children and
explain to your girlfriend that you will make it up to her when you are on a
date together.

When you have a girlfriend who loves
PDA
, make sure you keep it random and exciting for her. Enjoy some quiet time
with dirty talk while the two of you are out shopping together. Pretend you don’t know each other and
watch her while she shops and approach her with a subtle and sexy question. When
you are having dinner, trace your fingers along her thighs under the table.
Take her out for a movie and take advantage of a dark empty theater for a
little ear nibbling and kiss her neck. You get the idea.

It is still PDA, but it’s between you
two, which will make it even more exciting.
