My ProFlowers Review:
Life in my household is pretty busy. I work two careers, running a small
website business and a banker by day. My wife has a growing medical practice is
often gone before sunrise and home around dinnertime. I am a father to three
kids, two of them in college and stepfather to one who is with us full-time. In
summary, life is busy and planning is everything. If you don’t plan on things,
they are easy to get lost or forgotten. For me, this year’s Valentine’s Day was
not going to be forgotten because I had a plan to use the help of ProFlowers.com
The Week Before
Valentine’s Day…
I went online and did my research on the best value and
variety of Valentine’s Day packages and I decided to use ProFlowers.com I
selected the "Multi-Day " Flowers & Gift package which allowed me to
‘spread the valentine love’ early this year. The first day would be roses for
my wife, the second day chocolate dipped strawberries for my two daughters at
home and the third day would be a mixed variety of flowers that I would
surprise her by personally delivering to her at work. For anyone looking for a
multi-day gift plan, I highly recommend this package because the variety of
ways you can deliver the gifts.
As my order was placed a week ahead of schedule, I had that
piece of mind that many men would envy. I had an upcoming business trip the
week of Valentine’s Day, so I was pleased that I made every effort to avoid a
last minute rush that so many people encounter. Life was in order; or so I
thought.
The Week of
Valentine’s Day
As I stated earlier, I was heading out of town the week of
Valentines for business on the East Coast. This is the same coast that has been
suffering numerous blizzards and icy, snowy conditions. Needless to say, my
work trip was off to a cold start when I received a text from my 12-year old
stepdaughter that said:
"What do I do with the boxes out front?" she text.
"What boxes?" I text.
"The boxes say ProFlowers", she text back.
At this point of the text-conversation, I had to think fast
because I knew two things were certain: flowers need fresh water and chocolate
melts in the sun. All the planning I had made the week before was lost.
Somehow, my order arrived early and I was in no position to do anything but
improvise. I was at the mercy of a 12-year old. Valentine’s Day came early at
my house…
Everything Works Out
in the End
In summary, everybody enjoyed their Valentines Day gifts
early. My two daughters got to enjoy a dozen fresh strawberries dipped and
sprinkled in a variety of chocolaty ways, while my wife enjoyed a HUGE display
of flowery affection before my arrival back from the East Coast. My treat was to experience the adventure and enjoy the
pleasure of giving the gift of love to loved ones. Thank you Proflowers.
