3 Types of Promos To
Maximize
Savings This Holiday Season

Dads shop differently than Moms when it comes to consumer
goods and products that work for Men. This month, learn three types of promos
that will maximize your savings this holiday season.

3 Types of Promos

Some of you might miss out on Thanksgiving, Black Friday,
Cyber Monday and other specials, but that doesn’t mean it’s the end of your
shot to save money in the holiday quarter. This is because you can still enjoy
a lean lifestyle courtesy of promo codes.

According to statistics compiled by eMarketer, 102.5 million
individuals are expected to cash in a digital promo coupon this year, while
industry facts reported by NCH reveal that consumers have already saved $1.8
billion in the first half of 2013 through the use of coupons. However, the
holiday quarter is expected to result in much more savings, as discounts will
be combined with promo codes to create a double effect.

And though it can be a daunting task to search up promos
that result in maximum savings, some of the types that are likely to complement
your frugal habits are:

1. TV, Internet
and phone promos

It’s not just the retailers who offer promos in the holiday
season; TV, Internet and telephone service providers also offer consumers a
chance to save money on their subscriptions. The promo offers provided by
companies are available for single play, double play and triple play packages.

A tip: when looking to save the most on TV, internet and
phone service, you should ideally search promos that are attached to bundled
packages consisting of two or three services. The triple play
promo codes are still out there
, so you can expect to save more than you
would choose promos for single and double play packages.

2. Consumer
electronics promos

Consumer electronics continue to top the most wanted list in
the holiday season, accounting for a major portion of gift buying in the last
quarter. Smartphones and tablets are leading the way, followed by laptops, DVD
players etc. The launch of PlayStation 4 and the upcoming Xbox One have also
increased the charm of consumer electronics, especially among the young
population.

Several retailers are offering promo codes, with Amazon,
Wal-Mart and Target battling it out for customers. A report indicates that
Amazon is currently running the most aggressive campaign for consumer
electronics, surpassing Wal-Mart by 3%. You can therefore take advantage of
Amazon and Wal-Mart promo codes, but don’t forget to check promos from other
retailers like ThinkGeek and Hammacher Schlemmer when shopping for iPads,
Android phones and anything else that might be on your list.

3.
Apparel / Clothing Promos

Whether it’s designer clothing or clearance apparel,
clothing also makes way on the holiday season shopping list each year. Buying
clothes from digital stores in this quarter gives you the added benefit of saving
time and money spent in crowded stores, along with the liberty to browse the
extensive list of apparel with just a few clicks on the computer.

You’ll find a large number of apparel promos at the moment,
as there are thousands of brands looking to attract customers, and some are
even going out of their way to offer free shipping apart from the discount
attached to the promo. Currently, Macy’s, H&M, KG Fashion Superstore and
Aeropostale have the best promos, with discounts going up to 75% (expected to run
out soon).

It’s time to get your game face on; take advantage of these
promos to maximize your savings before saying goodbye to the year.
